Locum Radar gathers hundreds of open locum postings from clinics and public Telegram channels into one place. Locums filter them in real time by date, pay and more, then book a session directly with the clinic. There is no one relaying messages in between, so the booking is confirmed straight away.
How does Locum Radar work?
- We gather open postings. Hundreds of open sessions from clinics and public Telegram channels are collected into a single list, instead of being scattered across chats.
- Locums filter in real time. They narrow the list by date, pay and other details, and see what is available right now.
- Locums book directly. A locum picks an open session and books it with the clinic. Nobody sits between you and the person who will cover.
- The booking is confirmed. There is no waiting for an admin to read replies and answer.
- We handle the paperwork. We invoice clinics, pay locums, handle payslips and track every session.
How does the manual process work today?
In most clinics, finding a locum still runs on group chats and messages. The cycle usually looks like this:
- The clinic posts the session in a group chat.
- A locum replies to the admin.
- The admin replies, often a few hours later.
- By then the locum may have found another slot, or may not respond.
- The admin posts in the chat again, and the cycle starts over.
Every step depends on someone seeing a message at the right moment. For a last-minute gap, that delay is often the difference between a covered session and an empty one.
